Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email address, role, and authentication status.
- Reservation details such as facility, court, date, time, booking status, reservation name, contact email, and contact phone number.
- Payment verification details such as payment method, reference number, uploaded proof, and receipt IDs.
- Facility owner details such as facility profile, court information, operating hours, amenities, payment QR images, and shop item listings.
How we use information
- To create, verify, approve, decline, and display court reservations.
- To help facility owners manage schedules, bookings, revenue views, shops, and facility details.
- To send account verification messages and future reservation-related notifications when enabled.
- To improve reliability, prevent duplicate bookings, and keep operational records clear.
Payment proof and receipts
- BookTheCourt currently records payment references and uploaded screenshots for owner verification.
- Unless a supported payment gateway is explicitly enabled, BookTheCourt does not directly process online payments.
- Facility owners are responsible for checking payment proof before approving a reservation.
Storage and security
- We use access controls, authentication, and storage rules to protect account and booking information.
- Uploaded files such as payment proofs and facility/shop photos may be stored with the platform storage provider.
- No online system is perfect, but we work to limit access to information based on role and operational need.
Who can see booking information
- Players can view their own bookings and receipts after signing in.
- Facility owners can view reservations tied to their own courts and facilities.
- Public facility pages may show schedule availability, but reservation names are hidden from public views where privacy mode applies.
